Superstition: Applying chandan(sandalwood paste) on forehand shows the spirituality towards the god, especially in Hindu custom.
Is it really so........
Science: The reason of applying the chandan on forehead can be better explained using an example. Consider brain as the central processing unit of a computer. On working of CPU in a computer it gets heated up and it might get over heated, leading to damage, so in order to maintain the temperature we use cooling fans attached to it. Now consider similar case with our brain. Brain is the CPU of our body and in order maintain to temperature we apply chandan.
Simple thing but it is having very big importance, because, if your mind is under control then only you can create wonders.....
